<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized optical head mounted with a plurality of laser diodes, while an assembling and an adjusting work are facilitated and the cost reduction is attained. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical head equipped with at least two laser diodes 19a, 19b for emitting light beams having different wavelengths corresponding to different recording media and an optical axis composite element 22a for making the light beams emitted from these laser diodes 19a, 19b be reflected and passed through to combine the optical axes nearly on the same axis, the position of the optical axes of the light beams from the laser diodes 19a, 19b are adjusted by mounting the optical axis composite element 22a so that the position can be adjusted with respect to an optical head base 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
