<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic filler-dispersed insulating paint which yields an insulated wire which retains flexibility, extensibility and windability and shows an improved voltage life, heat resistance and wear resistance, and the insulated wire. <P>SOLUTION: The inorganic filler-dispersed insulating paint is prepared by dispersing an inorganic filler (an inorganic insulating material) in a base insulating paint. Here, an insulating paint based on polyurethane, polyester, polyesterimide, polyimide, etc., is used as the base insulating paint, and an organic material-treated mineral which is excellent in dispersibility, has a particle size of 0.1-50 μm and a particle thickness of 1-10 nm and is obtained by treating the surface of a layered mineral having a high aspect ratio of 100-500 with an organic material is used as the inorganic filler. The insulated wire (10) is produced by applying and baking the inorganic filler-dispersed insulating paint, obtained by adding and uniformly dispersing the organic material-treated mineral in an amount corresponding to 0.5-5.0 wt.% of a resin component of the base insulating paint, around a conductor (1) to form an inorganic filler-dispersed insulating film (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
