<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording paper which is excellent in water resistance and has no adhesion of tailings even when printing is continuously performed. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording body provided with a thermal recording layer comprising a colorless or light-colored basic leuco dye and a color developing agent as main components on an original paper, the thermal recording paper is characterized by that the thermal recording layer comprises an acrylic polymer and a colloidal silica, and wet strength of the original paper is ≥0.6 kN/m, and a pH when the original paper is extracted with hot water, is ≥5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
