<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block taking-out of a card from an insertion port when abnormality occurs in a card processor, and to avoid damage to an information recording portion provided in the card. <P>SOLUTION: This card processor 1 conveys the card 2 inserted in the insertion port 3 to the inside by a roller, and performs processing of reading/writing to the card by a magnetic head 15 or an IC contact head 16. When detecting the abnormality such as jamming of the card 2 in a conveying path, an eccentric cam 10 is rotated to bring the periphery of the eccentric cam 10 into contact with the card 2. A position P1 wherein the periphery of the eccentric cam 10 contacts with the card 2, a position P2 wherein the magnetic head 15 contacts with the card 2, and a position P3 wherein the IC contact head 16 contacts with the card 2 are disposed such that they do not align parallel to a card conveying direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
