<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily test target detecting performance of an FM-CW radar in a short time by an inexpensive facility. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency-modulated transmission wave is received from the FM-CW radar, the received transmission wave is time-domain-analyzed to acquire a time domain frequency data constituted of frequency values in a plurality of different time points, the acquired time domain frequency data is interpolation-processed to acquire frequency values in a plurality of time points delayed respectively by a prescribed delay time from the plurality of different time points, differences between the plurality of acquired frequency values therein and the plurality of acquired frequency values hereinbefore are acquired, beat signals in the plurality of time points are generated using the the plurality of acquired difference values as beat frequencies, the generated beat signals are frequency-analyzed to find a target spectrum, and the target detecting performance of the FM-CW radar is evaluated based on the target spectrum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
