<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing assisting device with a telescopic guide, capable of being easily mounted on a bathtub by devising the telescopic guide, and allowing an assisted person to be easily transferred to a seat. <P>SOLUTION: The bathing assisting device comprises a frame 20 set at a prescribed position on the rim of the bathtub, a lift device 30 mounted on the frame, and the seat 530 mounted on part of the lift device. The telescopic guide 40 is mounted on the lift device so that the seat is moved upward/downward via the telescopic guide. The telescopic guide consists of a telescopic pipe with a plurality of pipes with different diameters inserted in order.
