PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft cell built-in type chargeable battery which has a compact size and is improved in strength against external impact, and for which its assembly process is simply composed; and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This soft cell built-in type chargeable battery and its manufacturing method are composed by including: a battery cell of a soft material with a circuit board electrically connected to one surface; a case 10 having one side face opened so as to insert and install the battery cell in its inside; and a covering lid member 40 for sealing the opened one side face of the case 10 so as to expose external terminals 50 of the circuit board.
