PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front plate for a display device which can realize an easy-to-see image display when a large screen is constituted by arranging a plurality of display devices side by side and connecting a plurality of screens, and is suitable for large-screen display. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the front plate for the display device which has a transparent electrode layer on a filmy substrate and is arranged opposite a wiring board having an electrode layer on the side of a display medium across the display medium to constitute the display device. A stack of the filmy substrate and transparent electrode layer has a display region where the display medium is formed and a non-display region which is adjacent to the display region and where the display medium is not formed, and the non-display region of the stack can electrically be connected to an electric connection part of the wiring board by being bent covering an end surface of the wiring board.
