PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the corrosion resistance of an indoor used steel sheet which simulates actual environment. SOLUTION: The corrosion resistance of the indoor used steel sheet is evaluated, by performing a process comprising a process (A) and a process (B) once or a plurality of times. In the process (A), a salt component, based on a chloride, is bonded to the surface of an object to be tested and the adhesion amount of the salt component, based on the chloride bonded to the surface of the object to be tested is 0.1-1,000 mg/m<SP>2</SP>and a process requiring time is 10 min or shorter; and in the process (B), the temperature and the relative humidity are changed stepwise and a cycle comprising a drying process and a wetting process is performed once or a plurality number of times, with respect to the object to be tested. Herein, the dew point fluctuations of the drying process and the wetting process are±5°C or smaller, the time of the drying process is equal to or longer than that of the wetting process, the temperature in the drying time is 40-60°C, a holding time is 2-12 hr, the temperature in the wetting process is 20-60°C, the relative humidity is 75-96% and the holding time is 2-12 hr.
