PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of dividing a release sheet of an adhesive tape where the release sheets are stacked on a rubber sheet via adhesive layers. SOLUTION: In this method, the release sheet of the adhesive tape where the adhesive layers and the release sheets are stacked on an elastic support body is divided right and left in the longitudinal direction by a knife. As the knife, a knife having a round tip is used, and the support body is pressed by the tip of the knife, thereby separating the release sheet from the support body and dividing the release sheet with a cutting edge disposed in the knife.
