PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper blade capable of certainly enhancing wiping property while sufficiently maintaining a life of a blade rubber in the wiper blade using a backing virtually divided to a plurality of parts in a longitudinal direction and setting curvatures of respective areas in every area. SOLUTION: The backing 16 attached to the blade rubber is set to a curve of curvature corresponding to every area A1-A5 virtually divided in a longitudinal direction or a linear line and at least one of the areas is set to a circular shape. When the both adjacent areas are curves, tangents of the curves of the respective areas are coincident with each other at division points P1-P4 between the areas and when the adjacent one area becomes the curve and the other area becomes the linear line, the tangent of the one area forming the curve is made coincident with the linear line of the other area at the division point between the areas.
