PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase for a displaying food which is flexibly adaptive to both of a self sales and a counter sale, which is excellent in safety in the self sale and cleaning work efficiency, and which effectively prevents the breakage of a show window. SOLUTION: A housing space 3 is provided below a food display space 2, and the show window 12 is arranged on the front surface of the food display space. The show window is erected at the end parts of a pair of support arms 6 and 6 installed inside the housing space. When the support arms are in a horizontal state, the show window closes the front surface of the food display space. When the support arms are swung downward from a horizontal state, the show window moves downward to be pulled in and housed inside the housing space to open the front surface of the food display space.
