PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moxibustion implement with which a moxibustion treatment can be performed efficiently by supplying a large volume of smoking and an enough amount of heat to a region of the skin under treatment through the whole period from immediately after firing to the end of burning. SOLUTION: The moxibustion implement 1 is equipped with a first penetration hole 4 which vertically penetrates a pedestal 2 and is mounted with a moxa body 3 which is attached to a hollow section 2A of an upper surface of the pedestal 2 to cover an upper side aperture 4A of the first penetration hole 4, wherein the moxa body 3 is equipped with a second penetration hole 8 by vertical penetration and to communicate with the first penetration hole 4 of the pedestal 2. The moxa body 3 is cylindrically formed by wrapping a flocculent moxa 3A which is obtained by drying and rubbing the picked mugwort leaves with a sheet of thin paper 7.
