PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that generation of vibrations in an electric motor for raising/lowering a seat cushion caused by abutting a bracket for supporting the electric motor to a stopper of a lead screw gives an unpleasant feeling to an occupant when the seat cushion is in upper and lower limit positions. SOLUTION: A bracket 9 having a nearly U-shaped cross section is fixed to a seat cushion frame 4. The electric motor 7 and a housing 14 of a deceleration mechanism 8 are cantilevered by the bracket 9. An abutting part 21, a raised piece 19, and an upturn edge 20 provided for the bracket 9 are abutted to the housing 14 for preventing deflection or warp of the electric motor 7.
