PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform an assembling of a compression spring in a wiper arm equipped with the compression spring for generating pressing pressure to a wiper blade. SOLUTION: The wiper arm 1 is constituted so that a retainer 3 fixing an arm piece 2 and a guide pin 5 can be turnably supported relative to an arm head 4. The spring 6 in a compression state is disposed at the outer periphery of the guide pin 5. A spring stopper 7 is interposed between the tip end part 6B of the spring 6 and the base end parts 12A, 12B of the arm piece 2. The spring stopper 7 is equipped with the projections 24A, 24B for locking temporary placed on the top parts 12A, 12B of the base end parts 12A, 12B at the time of assembling of the spring 6.
