An open-end spinning machine has high speed rotor bearing ring (6) with a radial inner thread (10) that engages with a screw (11) thread. The bearing has a dampening sleeve (7) has an aperture (14) with a pressure distribution element (15). The aperture (14) has a flush drill hole (21). The aperture (14) and hole (21) match the screw (11). When the screw is unscrewed from bearing ring inner thread it is retained and supported by the bearing ring the pressure distribution element. The pressure distribution element has two retaining hooks for the screw.
