The manufacturing machine (1) includes a winding machine (8a) which may make tubes of spiral-wound paper strip (7). A machine with a knife (8b) cuts the tube into different lengths which are places on different buffer transport bands (9-13) in a first buffer region (2). The tube lengths are processed in a working region (3) with stamping and milling tools (19-22) and are then moved to a second buffer region (4) with belts or conveyers (23-28). The pieces of tube may be assembled to form pallets (41-49).
