<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner improved in performance with improvement of wind velocity distribution in the height and width directions of a heat exchanger by changing shape of baffle plates. <P>SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, fin tube type heat exchangers 3A and 3B are arranged in a nearly square around an impeller 2 of a turbo centrifugal fan, and both ends of the heat exchangers are connected for fixation by a large and a small baffle plates 4 and 5 in positions where refrigerant supplying and discharging tubes 6 and 7 of the heat exchangers are connected to each other. A projecting part 8 is provided to project toward the impeller to distribute a swirl flow in a position of the large baffle plate at least downstream of the swirl flow blown from the impeller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
