<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales system using a radio ID tag for contents with a protected copyright. <P>SOLUTION: The radio ID tag 2 storing a commodity serial number, a music ID, a music management server URL and the like is built in a SONGKEY 1 used for sale of the contents as music data. When a user buying the SONGKEY 1 brings the SONGKEY 1 close to a player 10, the stored information is read, and a download request for the music data of the music ID is sent to a music management server 30. In compliance with the download request, the music data are transferred from the music management server 30 to be stored in a HDD 19, while in the radio ID tag 2, completion of downloading and a machine ID of the player 10 is stored.
