<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an existing cooking appliance where a radio IC tag is attached to the outer surface of a food container wherein information stored on the radio IC tag becomes unusable once food is taken out of the food container. <P>SOLUTION: At a place of production, this non-contact information storage medium 30 is mixed into food 40 to be cooked and is put in a container 40 and held inside a microwave oven 42. The microwave oven 42 completes cooking after a predetermined period of time has elapsed since a microcomputer 44 starts cooking upon an RF reader/writer 46 reading from the non-contact information storage medium 30 mixed in the food 40 the method of cooking the food, i.e., microwave intensity, irradiation time, sensor detection temperature, cooking time and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
