<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting system capable of preventing generation of luminance unevenness near an LED, and making brightness of the whole of an outgoing plane higher. <P>SOLUTION: A point-like light source 1 is arranged close to an incidence plane 4 of a light guide plate 2, and light from the point-like light source 1 is emitted from the outgoing plane of the light guide plate 2 to irradiate an illuminated body 20. A reflection sheet 10 is laid on the side of the outgoing plane 3 of the light guide plate 2 to cover a region adjacent to the incidence plane 4 and top surfaces of LED's 1. A light dispersion portion 11 is provided on a rear surface of the reflection sheet 10 (on the side face to the outgoing plane 3 of the light guide plate 2) corresponding to the position of each LED 1 so as to cover the top surface of the LED 1. Leak light from the LED 1 is dispersed to the circumference by the light dispersion portion 11 and reflected by the reflection sheet 10 to be used as the incidence light to the light guide plate 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
