<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture and furniture capable of arranging a communication cable connected with a reading device of a partition plate without being exposed to an accommodation part, and without electromagnetic waves emitted from the reading device being influenced by an electromagnetic shielding material. <P>SOLUTION: A communication cable 18 connected with a reading device 9 is inserted in a long hole 6a formed on a back plate 6, and is arranged at a hollow part 23 formed between the back plate and a rear plate for performing wiring, so that deterioration of appearance of a fixture 1 seen from a front can be prevented without projecting the communication cable 18 in the accommodation part 22 from the back side of the partition plate 15.
