<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security in network printing. <P>SOLUTION: This print system is constructed by connecting a client computer PC 100, a server 200, and a printer 300 one another via a network LAN. The PC 100 generates a print job to spool it inside and transmits a user ID to the server 200. The server 200 manages an IP address of the PC 100 and its user ID in association with each other. Under this condition, when the printer 300 notifies the user ID read from an ID card 304 of the user to the server 200, the server 200 instructs output of the print job to the PC 100. When the PC 100 sends the print job, the printer 300 receives the print job and carries out printing.
