<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a power supply backup apparatus for supplying DC power to devices and components, reduce its size, weight, cost and power loss, and enhance operational reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply mechanism 9 without a storing function by a battery and a charging function of the battery and a power supply backup mechanism 10 with a charging/discharging function are divided. Each mechanism is connected to two commercial power supplies AC1, AC2 and supplied with AC power. An output terminal of each mechanism is connected to an input terminal of an apparatus circuit 4. When power is not interrupted, the power supply mechanism 9 supplies the DC power to the apparatus circuit 4 and the power supply backup mechanism 10 charges the battery and is prepared for power interruption. When power is interrupted, the power supply backup mechanism 10 discharges the battery and supplies the DC power indicated by arrows d, D since a function of the power supply mechanism 9 stops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
