<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger type fluid delivery device capable of securing a reduction in operation noise and delivering a proper flow of fuel by stabilizing the reciprocating motion of a plunger. <P>SOLUTION: An annular recessed part 30 is formed in the opposed surface 28 of an elastic body 24 opposed to a stopper 26, an annular projected part 34 is formed on the opposed surface 32 of the stopper opposed to the elastic body 24, and the recessed part 30 of the elastic body 24 is fitted to the projected part 34 of the stopper 26. Regardless of whether the plunger 16 is not collided with or collided with the stopper 26, the opposed surface 28 of the elastic body 24 is not brought into contact with the elastic body 24 of the stopper 26. Thus, when the plunger 16 is collided with the stopper 26, an impact noise can be reduced, and the reciprocating motion of the plunger 16 can be stabilized by eliminating a repulsion by the elastic body 24 to the stopper 26 to discharge the proper flow of the fuel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
