<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band control unit, a band control method, and a band control program for efficiently carrying out a band control in a simple manner with a small computational quantity independently of a form of a network. <P>SOLUTION: Band limit processing sections 35<SB>1</SB>to 35<SB>n</SB>store a remaining token amount X left in a token packet, token amount monitor sections 36<SB>1</SB>to 36<SB>n</SB>compare the stored remaining token amount X with a maximum burst token amount Y, and priority control sections 34<SB>1</SB>to 34<SB>n</SB>assign a communication channel capacity assigned to the band-guarantee type communication to the best effort type communication on the basis of a result of the comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
