PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To abolish a blower, a heat exchanger, and a gas circulation pipeline route for connecting between them; and to realize a gas laser oscillation device in small size/low cost and requiring no maintenance for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The laser medium 2 is moved to a discharging space 6, and a cooling means is provided in a discharge vessel 1 itself to change the moving direction of the laser medium 2 from the lengthwise direction of the discharge vessel 1 into another direction 27 orthogonal to the lengthwise direction. Under such designing condition as described above necessary laser medium moving speed is set as 1/10. A plurality of movable fins 31-36 arranged in the discharge vessel 1 are oscillated by a piezo-electric element 24 provided in respective movable fins to move circumferential laser medium 2 like as a fan to ventilate air into the discharging space 6. The laser medium 2 sent into the discharging space 6 becomes high temperature by discharge. However, a cooling water passage 23 is provided in the discharge vessel 1 to cool the inner wall of the discharge vessel 1 and the movable fins 31 through the laser medium 2 while air is ventilated again into the discharging space 6 by the oscillation of the movable fins 31 whereby laser oscillation can be carried out effectively.
