PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet of an open structure for inhibiting the consumption of liquid helium even when heat by an eddy current is generated inside the superconducting magnet, practically eliminating the need of the replenishing work, stably maintaining a superconducting magnet performance and improving the efficiency of an inspection. SOLUTION: A pipe connecting two cryostats so as to inject the liquid helium from an upper cryostat to a lower cryostat is provided, the end parts of the connection pipe are respectively connected above superconducting coils inside the upper and lower cryostats, and a refrigerator for condensing a helium gas into liquid is combined with the upper cryostat. Further, a function of recording, judging and displaying the monitored results of the refrigerator and a compressor and the absolute value and change value of a liquid helium value and a pressure value is programmed in a computer.
