SUBSTRATE WITH EXTENSION BOARD AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate with an extension board which can electrically connect the relay substrate with a substrate made of resin stably and is excellent in reliability notwithstanding relatively low cost. SOLUTION: The substrate 61 with the extension board comprises a substrate 41 made of resin and an extension board 31. The board 31 has an extension board body 38 and a plurality of conductive pillar 35. Solder bumps 37 at the board side are arranged at second plane side ends of the plurality of conductive pillars 35. A second plane 33 side of the board body 38 is adhered with a principal plane 42 side of the substrate 41 made of resin through a solder resist 53. The plurality of conductive pillars 35 are electrically connected with a plurality of plane connecting pad 46 through a plurality of the board side solder bump 37. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
