PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice mail device which does not need voice CODEC, or is able to reduce the code conversion capability. SOLUTION: The voice mail device comprises a packet memory part which memorizes voice packets including voice data of a 1st coding system received. Namely, code conversion is not necessary upon receiving, and as a result, vice CODEC becomes unnecessary, by memorizing the received voice packet as it is without code conversion.
