PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable quartz oscillator capable of mounting a quartz oscillating element in a stable state for improved productivity. SOLUTION: A quartz oscillating element 5 comprising a pair of oscillation electrodes 6a and 6b connected to connection pads 2a and 2b through a conductive adhesive 7 is mounted on the upper surface of an insulating substrate 1 provided with the pair of connection pads 2a and 2b. On the upper surface of the connection pads 2a and 2b, a bump 4 abutted on the lower surface of quartz oscillating element 5 is disposed without contacting the conductive adhesive 7.
