PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely predict a deterioration rate in a deterioration rate prediction method and a deterioration diagnostic system for an underwater structure. SOLUTION: This deterioration rate prediction method for the underwater structure installed in water has a step for determining a corresponding deterioration state of the underwater structure out of deterioration environmental patterns a, b, c classified into a plurality of numbers in response to differences in deterioration states, and a step for calculating the deterioration rate pursuant to a prediction expression corresponding to the corresponding deterioration environmental pattern. This deterioration diagnostic system for the underwater structure installed in the water is provided with an information input means for inputting, as information, environmental information of the underwater structure, and the corresponding pattern of the deterioration state of the underwater structure out of the deterioration environmental patterns classified into the plurality of numbers in response to the differences in the deterioration states, a computing means for calculating the deterioration rate pursuant to the prediction expression corresponding to the input deterioration environmental pattern, based on the information, and a display means for displaying a calculation result calculated by the computing means.
