PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twist roller type friction drive mechanism reducing axial runout and force for slip of a driven roller for smoothly and highly accurate friction drive, and to provide a table feeding device using the twist roller type friction drive mechanism and a machining device using the table feeding device. SOLUTION: In a twist roller type friction drive mechanism 24, a movable driven roller holding mechanism 41a, a movable driven roller holding mechanism 41b, and a fixed driven roller holding mechanism 42 are disposed around a rotational shaft of a drive roller 40 which is rotary driven, the movable driven roller holding mechanism 41a and movable driven roller holding mechanism 41b are movable in a rotational shaft direction of the drive roller 40 respectively along a direct-acting guide mechanism 44a and a direct-acting guide mechanism 44b, and the fixed driven roller holding mechanism 42 is directly fixed to a housing 43.
