PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filter device capable of preventing oil from flowing out to the outside certainly when the filter element is replaced. SOLUTION: The oil filter device includes an oil filter structured so that the filter element 41 is accommodated in a case 21, the top opening is blocked with a lid 31, and a seal ring 35 is interposed between the seal faces 23a and 31b of the case 21 and the lid 31, wherein an annular projection 33 to be fitted in the inside surface of the case 21 is integrally formed in an extended manner on the inner side face of the seal surface 31b on the lid side. The seal face 23a on the case side is provided with an annular fitting groove 37 to mount and fix the lower part of the seal ring 35, which is furnished with a seal piece 35b extending inward in the radial direction and abutting to the whole circumference of the periphery of the annular projection 33 on the lid 31. The seal piece 35b is formed extending in a lip shape inward in the radial direction from the inside edge of the top part of the seal ring 35 and separated from the seal face 23a on the case side.
