PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacking concrete pipe which enables positive observation of the condition of the tunnel natural ground at the time of jacking the pipe, contributes to reduction of a jacking force by injecting a just enough amount of lubricant, based on a result of the observation, has a simple structure, and facilitates arrangement work, and to provide a jacking method for the jacking concrete pipe. SOLUTION: The jacking concrete pipe P having lubricant injection holes formed therein, has a natural ground observation hole 5 formed in a pipe wall 1, from an inner surface toward an outer surface thereof, which natural ground observation hole 5 has a transparent plate 10 facing to the outer surface of the pipe wall 1. Then by providing a lighting unit 11 directed to the interior of the natural ground observation hole 5, the outside condition of the tunnel natural ground, i.e. the state of injection of lubricant into a gap 18 between the pipe P and the tunnel natural ground, can be visually observed via the transparent plate 10 in an easy and positive manner. Further if filling of the lubricant in the gap 18 is insufficient, the lubricant is injected from the injection holes 4 formed in the jacking concrete pipe P depending on the state, which leads to reduction of the jacking force of the pipe.
