PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure constructing method which is applicable to the case that the arrangement of reinforcements is carried out by avoiding a specific area, wherein the conjested arrangement of the reinforcements not generated, and wherein the transfer of the axial force of the reinforcement is surely achieved. SOLUTION: By the structure constructing method, a ground 1 area above an existing structure 9 and a ground 1 area on the periphery of the same are excavated, and bearing piles 17 and temporary receiving piles 19 are arranged below the existing structure 9. Then a structure construction schedule location 21 below the existing structure 9 is excavated to secure an installation space for a new structure 37. Next in the structure construction schedule location 21, a plurality of plate members 23 each having a notch 25 and joints 27 are connected to each temporary receiving pile 19 in one body by arranging each notch 25 on the same, whereby the temporary receiving pile 19 is inserted in a hole 26 defined by the plate members 23. Further by connecting reinforcement 35a to the respective joints 27, reinforcements 35 of the new structure 37 are arranged, and by cutting a predetermined location of the temporary receiving pile 19, a portion in the structure construction schedule location 21 is removed, concrete for the new structure 37 is continuously placed.
