PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an austenitic stainless steel sheet which can be blanked into a product which shows little sag and has high-precision blanking fracture face. SOLUTION: The product showing little sag at fine-blanking can be obtained by annealing and pickling a cold-rolled sheet and subsequently subjecting it to temper rolling at a rolling reduction ratio of 5-20% to achieve a fracture elongation of≤60%. Here, the cold-rolled sheet has a composition comprising, by mass%,≤0.060% (C+1/2N),≤1.0% Si,≤5% Mn,≤0.006% S, 15-20% Cr, 5-12% Ni,≤5% Cu and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, has an austenite stability index Md<SB>30</SB>of from -120 to -10 defined by formula (1): Md<SB>30</SB>(°C)=551-462(C+N)-9.2Si-8.1Mn-29(Ni+Cu)-13.7Cr-18.5Mo, and a stacking fault difficulty index SFE of≥30 defined by formula (2): SFE (mJ/m<SP>2</SP>)=2.2Ni+6Cu-1.1Cr-13Si-1.2Mn+32, and maintains 1.0-4.0 mass% of solid Cu in a matrix by controlling the amount of Cu contained in deposit to≤1.0 mass%.
