PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizer that carries liquid rapidly into a central part in which the liquid is atomized by sucking from the outer surface through a carrying part. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizer is provided with a carrying part 2 that carries the liquid from a liquid reservoir part 1, a counter electrode 3 arranged in opposite to the carrying direction of the liquid by the carrying part 2, a liquid voltage application electrode 4 for applying voltage to the liquid during a pathway from the liquid reservoir part 1 to the leading front of the counter electrode side of the carrying part 2 and a voltage application part 6 that applies the high voltage between the liquid voltage application electrode 4 and the counter electrode 3.
