PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating type filter press, and filtering method with improved heat efficiency and peelability of cake, by improving a heating plate heating a filter chamber and combining vacuum suction with it. SOLUTION: In this heating type filter press with the filter chamber formed by the heating plate 5 and a diaphragm filter plate, and a filter cloth suspended in the filter chamber, filter beds 43 having protrusions are provided on resin core plates 32 with a heating passage formed on the surface, and heating plates 5 are composed by extending metal heating plates 33 formed with recessed grooves on the rear faces of the protrusions, and a heating device of the heating plates 5 and a decompression unit of the filter chamber are provided. The metal heating plate 33 is made thin to improve a heat conductivity to the filter chamber and reduce heat radiation loss. A mechanism of the heating plate 5 is simple, allowing easy manufacturing, increasing strength of the metal heating plates 33, and easy assembling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
