PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible endoscope permitting smoothly inserting an insertion part into the human body without applying a lubricant liquid by securely and slightly vibrating the distal end of the flexible insertion part in a desired state. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic coil 3, a weight 8 disposed movably in the axial direction of the electromagnetic coil 3, on which the electromagnetic force generated by energization to the electromagnetic coil 3 works, and a coil spring 9 one end of which is connected to the insertion part 1 and the other end of which is connected to the weight 8 to be extended/contracted in the axial direction of the electromagnetic coil 3 are disposed inside the distal end of the insertion part 1. The weight 8 resonates and part around the distal end of the insertion part 1 is slightly vibrated by energization to the electromagnetic coil 3 in response to the extension/contraction of the coil spring 9.
