PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper note conveying device which prevents the generation of troubles and failures along with a reduction in cost and the realization of the simplifying the workability by lessening the number of motors used to a few or one as much as possible even when a plurality of paper note conveying devices is linked and also by enabling the driving of a plurality of paper note conveying devices without using the complicated transmission mechanisms. SOLUTION: The device has a power transmission mechanism 4 in which a link part 10 is provided at both ends of a drive gear shaft 8 turnably installed across the breadth of a paper note conveying path 6a, a paper note feeding mechanism 6 in which a conveying belt 19 is wound on a driven pulley 18 provided near both ends of the paper note conveying path, a gear transmission mechanism 5 which is meshed with the drive gear shaft 8 to drive a driven pulley 18 of the paper note feeding mechanism 6 and a paper note takeoff mechanism 7 which is meshed with the drive rear shaft 8 to drive a takeoff pulley 22 provided on a paper feeding device 21. The link parts are interconnected or a motor is connected to the link parts, thereby driving to rotate the drive gear shafts of the respective paper note conveying devices.
