<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for germinating unpolished rice causing no damage on nutrients and nutritive value, and excellent in taste, and a method for producing dry germinated unpolished rice having no odd smell because various germs do not increase so as to be preservable for a long time; and to provide an apparatus for the method. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has the following structure: a water tank 1 is provided with a discharge port 4 openable and closable via an open/close valve 3 at its bottom part side; a porous treatment tank 5 is rotationally provided inside the water tank 1; the water tank 1 is provided with jet nozzles 9, 9 of an air blowing means 8 with which low temperature air is blown into the bottom part 2B of the water tank 1; unpolished rice and water for washing or germination are supplied to the porous treatment tank 5 respectively via an unpolished rice supplying pipe 15 and a water supply pipe 16; and natural bittern is supplied to the tank from a bittern supply pipe 17. In the apparatus, unpolished rice is germinated and dried in the porous treatment tank 5, and obtained dry germinated unpolished rice is transferred to a storage tank through a germinated unpolished rice suction pipe 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
