<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge impurities in a circulating system feeding gas to a fuel cell, using a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with the fuel cell 12 for carrying out power generation by receiving supply of anode gas containing hydrogen in an anode and for receiving supply of cathode gas containing oxygen in a cathode, a vapor liquid separating apparatus 26 provided to the circulating system of the gas supplied to the fuel cell 12 and a valve 38 provided in the vapor/liquid separating apparatus 26 and provided with both the functions of draining moisture in the circulating system and of exhausting the gas in the circulating system. Since both the drainage and exhausting of the circulating system can be carried out by the valve 38 provided in the vapor/liquid separating apparatus 26, the number of parts constituting the system can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
