<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a stable and efficient treatment by forming granular sludge sedimentation properties to keep the concentration thereof high in a USB reaction tank, in performing anaerobic ammonoxidation treatment method by holding the granular sludge of ANAMMOX bacteria in the USB reaction tank. <P>SOLUTION: A calcium compound is added to ANAMMOX water to be treated introduced into the USB reaction tank 1 and a calcium compound is incorporated in granules in a form of calcium carbonate or hydroxyapatite not only to enhance the specific gravity of the granules but also to well keep the sedimentation properties thereof to prevent the outflow of the granules from the USB reaction tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
