<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency when a gas engine power generator implements a part-load operation or an operation condition fluctuates, and stably track a load when the load drastically fluctuates in a system in which the gas engine power generator is connected to a power system linking system. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit in which PWM AC-DC converters 41, 42 are connected by a DC link 43 is inserted between a power generator 15 and a power system 22. Output power is supplied to the power system through the circuit. The power generator 15 is controlled by the AC-DC converter 41 at a variable speed. The fuel of a gas engine 13 is controlled in response to a power demand in the power system 22. The engine and the power generator track a rapid change of the load in the power system by their inertial energy, and adjust rotation speeds in response to the part-load operation and a change of a gas fuel component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
