<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge detector capable of further accurately detecting corona discharge with a further simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: UV-C ultraviolet ray images from an object 10 are acquired while alternately performing irradiation and interruption of ultraviolet ray to the object.
