<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain air bag with a cascade inflator for rapidly and uniformly expanding and deploying an air bag. <P>SOLUTION: An air bag device 10 with the curtain air bag 20 and the cascade inflator is mounted along a roof line of a vehicle. The inflator is divided into regions and is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the air bag 20. By dividing the inflator 30, the inflator 30 is not required to be bent and distorted when mounting the inflator 30 on the vehicle, and the air bag 20 can be properly deployed by a control of a controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
