MULTICAST NETWORK APPARATUS, MULTICAST NETWORK SYSTEM AND MULTICAST METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent traffic congestion, to maintain stable distribution following expansion of network scale and to enhance security of multicast address information in a distribution system wherein a plurality of independent domains are connected.

SOLUTION: A multicast network apparatus 1 for distributing data between independent domains (A), (B) comprises: an extraction section 7a for extracting a distribution destination multicast address from reception data; a holding section 8 for holding translation data wherein the distribution destination multicast address is made to correspond to a distribution source address; a discrimination section 6c for outputting a result of discriminating whether or not the distribution multicast address is to be held; an address translating/filtering section 9 for translating the distribution destination multicast address of reception data into an arbitrary multicast address when the distribution destination multicast address is to be held, and discarding the reception data if not; and a transmission section 6b for transmitting data including a rewritten multicast address to the domain (B).
