<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method capable of preventing occurrence of oscillation stop or unstable oscillation of a quartz oscillator by caused by an increase of spatter. <P>SOLUTION: In the welding method, two leads 5 provided on one end of an oscillator 3 with an oscillation piece enclosed therein and conducted to the oscillation piece are welded while a transparent movable sheet 9 for sticking with welding spatter scattered by laser beams deposited thereon is interposed between a laser beam outlet 1 and a welding part 8.
