SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR EXCHANGING PACKET, PACKET TERMINAL ADAPTER DEVICE, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively exchange a packet by capitalizing on previous properties, when exchanging the packet by connecting a non-IP-based host computer and terminal equipment to an IP network.

SOLUTION: A packet exchanging device (XPSV9) is connected to the IP network 3 to execute the communication between the non-IP-based host computer 1 and the terminal equipment 2 via the IP network 3. And a server means (XTA-S7) that receives data to the terminal equipment 2 for transmitting to the packet exchanging device 9 via a virtual line is added to the non-IP-based host computer 1, and a client means (XTA-C8) for transferring the data via the virtual line is added to the non-IP-based terminal equipment.
